FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've got A's for your Q's

What is the e-Edition?

It's like having the print version of The Spokesman-Review at your fingertips! The Spokesman-Review e-Edition is a digital replica of our print newspaper. Students can jump onto any computer with internet access and browse through the pages, skimming headlines just as they would with the printed edition.

What is a license & how do I know how many I need?

A license is the digital equivalent of one printed newspaper.

The number of licenses you need should match the number of students & educators who require access simultaneously. Typically, this corresponds to the number of students on your roster.

What are the benefits of subscribing to the e-Edition?

Readers can enjoy all the text, photos, and advertisements just like in the daily paper. Plus, they can change the screen layout, easily navigate through pages and sections, and save or sent articles with a click. This keeps students engaged and fosters a sense of community as they stay informed and connected. Additionally, you'll have access to free activities tied back to the newspaper, enhancing the learning experience even further.

How do my students and I access the free digital edition?

Just use the unique access link sent to you upon activation. Remember, NIE won't work through any other e-Edition login or The Spokesman-Review app.

Will signing up give me access to The Spokesman-Review app?

Not quite! Access will only work through the unique link shared by our team at activation.

Do students have to use the same computer(s) every day?

No, your classroom subscriptions to the e-edition can be accessed on multiple computers.

Curious about what you'll need to sign up?

We just need your school or district email address and a few quick details like the start and end dates and the number of students who will be using the service. Signing up is a breeze and takes less than 2 minutes!
